Dexterity Dexterity Delay

Smear is an advanced footbag freestyle trick consisting of an uptime Pixie set followed by a downtime Mirage.

Demonstration of the Smear Drill.

Start with the footbag on a toe stall and set it upward.
As the footbag rises, use the same leg that performed the set to circle the footbag from in-to-out.
Quickly plant the setting foot after completing the Pixie dexterity.
As the footbag falls, use the opposite leg to circle the footbag from in-to-out, completing the Mirage dexterity.
As the Mirage leg begins to plant, bring the original setting foot underneath the falling footbag and catch it on the toe.
Repeat on the same side to complete the drill.

Make a small, controlled in-to-out Pixie dexterity close to the footbag. Large circles waste time and make the Mirage harder.

Focus on a clean Pixie set that rises slightly in front of you, giving the support leg enough time to complete the Mirage dexterity.

Keep your weight centered on the support leg throughout the trick so you can finish the Mirage and catch the footbag with control.
