How To Perform A Far Hoe

  1. Start from a controlled clipper stall.
  2. Set the bag upward from the clipper position.
  3. Hop off the support leg as the bag rises.
  4. Swing the opposite leg over the bag from outside to inside.
  5. Continue turning your hips so the bag moves behind your support leg.
  6. Position your toe behind the support leg in a cross-body rake position.
  7. Catch the bag on the toe and sweep it from behind the support leg back to the front of your body.
  8. Finish on a controlled toe stall to complete the final dexterity.

Tips For Learning

Master Infinity First

Since Far Hoe follows the same path as Infinity, a consistent Infinity will make the rake finish much easier.

Practice Cross-Body Rakes

Learn to catch and sweep the bag smoothly from behind your support leg before adding the full trick.

Turn Through the Catch

Complete your hip rotation before the rake. Stopping the turn early often causes the bag to drift away from the catching surface.
