How To Perform A Rooted Paradox Mirage

  1. Start by setting the footbag upward from a clipper set.
  2. Keep your stalling foot planted firmly on the ground as you pivot toward your setting side and bring the thigh of your setting leg under the footbag.
  3. As the footbag falls, pivot back over the footbag while moving your setting leg around it in an in-to-out direction, keeping the stalling foot grounded.
  4. Complete the full dexterity motion without lifting the stalling foot.
  5. Allow the bag to land on the toe of the planted foot.

Tips For Learning

Set Straight Up

Start with a controlled clipper set that gives you enough height and time to complete the dexterity while keeping your stalling foot planted.

Keep Your Base Grounded

Pivot toward and away from the footbag using your hips and upper body while keeping the stalling foot firmly planted throughout the trick.

Finish On The Same Toe

Complete the dexterity without lifting the support foot, then allow the bag to land cleanly on the toe of the planted foot.
