How To Perform An Rooted Wauxspin

  1. Stand balanced with your knees slightly bent.
  2. Set the footbag straight up from a toe stall.
  3. Keep your stalling toe planted on the ground throughout the trick.
  4. Pivot away from the footbag, allowing it to drift behind you.
  5. Continue the half backspin while tracking the footbag over your shoulder.
  6. Transfer the footbag directly onto the opposite planted toe without lifting it from the ground.

Tips For Learning

Keep The Toe Planted

The stalling toe should stay in contact with the ground from start to finish. Let your body turn around the foot instead of lifting it.

Spot The Bag Late

Turn confidently and trust the set. Look over your shoulder near the end of the spin to locate the footbag before the catch.

Set Straight Up

A clean vertical set gives you time to complete the half backspin and position the planted toe underneath the footbag.
