How To Perform The Gimpy Toe Stall Drill

  1. Relax, lean forward, and bend your knees slightly.
  2. Begin with a controlled knee bump that sends the footbag upward in front of your body.
  3. Keep the set low and straight so the footbag stays within easy reach of your toe.
  4. Lift your foot and position it underneath the descending footbag.
  5. Time your toe stall like an elevator going down, cushioning the bag as it lands.
  6. Alternate sides by performing a knee bump followed by a toe stall on each foot.

Tips For Learning

Control The Knee Set

Use a gentle knee bump that sends the footbag straight up and stays close to your body.

Get Under The Bag

Move your toe into position early so you can cushion the footbag rather than reaching for it at the last second.

Alternate Sides

Practice knee bump to toe stall on both sides to develop balanced freestyle fundamentals.
