Dimwalk is a Butterfly that begins with a pixie set instead of a toe set. It combines a pixie dexterity, an opposite leg-over, and a clipper stall, making it one of the fundamental building blocks of tripless freestyle.

How To Perform A Dimwalk

  1. Start from a controlled toe stall.
  2. Set the bag slightly upward and toward your centerline as you perform an uptime dexterity.
  3. Hop off the support leg as the bag rises.
  4. Swing the opposite leg over the bag from out-to-in.
  5. Continue turning your hips into clipper position.
  6. Catch the bag on a clean clipper stall behind the support leg.

Tips For Learning

Master Pixie First

A solid Pixie set makes landing the Butterfly dramatically easier.

Set Close To Your Body

Keep the set controlled. Large sets make the dexterity much harder.

Turn Into The Catch

Rotate your hips and shoulders toward clipper position before the stall.
