How To Perform A Probe

  1. Begin with the footbag balanced on your shoulder.
  2. Stay relaxed and keep your upper body steady as the bag starts to fall.
  3. Allow the bag to drop behind your head without turning to watch it.
  4. Track the bag by feel and timing as it passes through your blind spot.
  5. Turn your hips into clipper position and place your stalling foot behind your support leg.
  6. Cushion the bag into a controlled clipper stall as it emerges from behind your body.

Tips For Learning

Stable Shoulder Stall

Start with a controlled shoulder stall. Excess movement can cause the bag to miss the blind dropping path behind your head.

Trust The Blind Drop

Let the bag fall naturally behind your head and neck. Avoid turning early to look for it, which can change its trajectory.

Move Into Clipper

As the bag clears your blind spot, rotate into clipper position and cushion the catch for maximum control.
