How To Perform A Clipper Stall

  1. Stand balanced with your knees slightly bent.
  2. Turn your support shoulder toward the bag as it descends.
  3. Place your stalling foot behind your support leg.
  4. Tilt the foot upward so the inside edge creates a flat catching surface.
  5. Cushion the bag by lowering your foot slightly as it lands.
  6. Hold control for a moment before setting the bag back into play.

Tips For Learning

Turn Your Hips

Rotate your hips and shoulders to comfortably reach the clipper position.

Catch, Don't Kick

Focus on absorbing the bag's impact rather than popping it away.

Practice Both Sides

Strong flip-side clippers are essential for freestyle progression.
