How To Perform An Soleosis

  1. Start with the footbag balanced on the sole of one foot in a regular sole stall.
  2. Keep the footbag on your sole as you begin turning your body away from it.
  3. Rotate your hips and shoulders while maintaining contact between the footbag and your sole.
  4. Continue turning and move the stalling foot behind your body in an Osis-style motion.
  5. As you complete the turn, bring the stalling foot across your body.
  6. Finish with the footbag balanced on the sole in a controlled cross-body sole stall.

Tips For Learning

Keep The Sole Flat

Keep your foot level so the footbag stays balanced on the sole throughout the entire movement.

Turn With The Bag

Rotate your hips and shoulders smoothly while keeping the footbag connected to your sole as you move behind your body.

Finish Cross-Body

Complete the turn by bringing the stalling foot across your body and settling into a controlled cross-body sole stall.
