How To Perform A Cross-Body Squeeze

  1. Stand balanced with your knees slightly bent.
  2. Turn your support shoulder toward the bag as it descends.
  3. Position your support leg slightly in front of the falling footbag.
  4. Lift your stalling leg behind your support leg and bend the knee.
  5. Catch the footbag securely in the pocket behind your knee as it falls.
  6. Squeeze your lower leg toward your thigh to hold the footbag in place.
  7. Regain your balance and prepare for the next trick.

Tips For Learning

Watch The Bag

Track the footbag all the way into the catch so you can position your knee accurately.

Pinch Firmly

Close your lower leg toward your thigh at the moment of the catch to secure the footbag behind your knee.

Stay Balanced

Keep your weight centered over your support leg so you can hold the squeeze and transition into the next trick.
