How To Perform A Guay

  1. Start by setting the footbag from the toe of one foot.
  2. As the footbag rises, use the opposite leg to begin the dexterity movement.
  3. Bring the opposite leg around the inside of the footbag and continue the movement in an in-to-out direction.
  4. Complete the full dexterity motion and bring your foot back underneath the footbag.
  5. Make clean contact with the footbag with an Inside Stall and regain your balance for the next trick.

Tips For Learning

Watch The Bag

Keep your eyes on the footbag throughout the entire dexterity motion so you can time the contact correctly.

Use The Opposite Toe

Remember that the Guay begins with a toe set from the opposite foot before the dexterity leg moves around the bag.

Go In To Out

Focus on making one smooth in-to-out motion around the footbag before bringing your foot back underneath it in an Inside Stall.
