How To Perform A Spinning Clipper

  1. Stand balanced with your knees slightly bent.
  2. Set a clipper straight up.
  3. Begin a backspin as the footbag rises, keeping your eyes on the footbag for as long as possible.
  4. Continue the spin and quickly spot the footbag as it peaks just before it begins to fall behind you.
  5. Complete the spin and bring your stalling foot underneath the falling footbag.
  6. Catch the footbag in the Clipper position on the same side from which it was set.

Tips For Learning

Spot The Bag

Keep your eyes on the footbag for as long as possible before beginning the spin. Spotting the bag early helps you track it through the rotation and prepare for the catch.

Stay On Axis

Keep your spin upright and centered. Staying balanced throughout the rotation makes it much easier to get your stalling foot underneath the footbag.

Finish In Clipper

As you complete the spin, bring your stalling foot underneath the falling footbag and finish in a clean Clipper position on the same side.
