How To Perform A Muted Clipper

  1. Stand balanced with your knees slightly bent.
  2. Set a controlled toe stall in the direction opposite your setting foot, do not plant this foot.
  3. Turn your support shoulder toward the bag as it descends.
  4. Place your stalling foot behind your support leg.
  5. Tilt the foot upward so the inside edge creates a flat catching surface.
  6. Cushion the bag by lowering your foot slightly as it lands.
  7. Hold control for a moment before setting the bag back into play.
